EDM 588 Innovations in Curriculum and Instruction (3 credits)

Participants examine the theoretical, historical, multicultural, social, community, and political foundations of curriculum that serve as frameworks for examining the curriculum and instruction experienced by students and teachers in classrooms.  The course investigates current, research-based pedagogies (such as differentiated instruction) and instructional innovations including attention to recent developments in educational psychology as a foundation for learning.
