The Juris Doctor is a three-year professional degree necessary for taking the bar exam and practicing law in the United States. Accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
A one-year, advanced law degree for law school graduates or lawyers trained to gain expertise in a specialized field of law. Willamette offers the LLM in Dispute Resolution and Transnational Law.
The Master of Legal Studies is a one-year master’s program designed for non-lawyers whose job involves working within a legal or regulatory framework. A bachelor’s degree is required.
A four-year program combining the resources of the Willamette University College of Law and Atkinson Graduate School of Management in two professional degrees: the Juris Doctor and the Master of Business Administration. Accredited for law by the ABA and business by AACSB International. The program is also a member of NASPAA, for public management.
Allows students to complete a bachelor's degree and law degree in six years rather than the usual seven. Available through Willamette University College of Liberal Arts, Oregon State University, Portland State University, and University of Alaska, Anchorage.
