Your Next Career Management Assignments - Due July 28th

1. Complete the Reflect Self-Assessment and Development Tool

Earlier today you received an email from Judy O'Neill that contains your Reflect log-in code. The email was sent to your Willamette email address. If you need to receive the email at another address, contact Judy O'Neill and let her know the address you need it sent to.

We purchased Reflect for you, so there is no cost to you. Here are some important things to remember about Reflect.

Reflect is the newest and most powerful online professional development tool available for MBA students. It is very similar to assessments used in companies throughout the world to assist with hiring, promotion and training decisions. Reflect will help you grow professionally toward your goals by giving you new insights and knowledge. It will help you take an active role in developing your strong qualities and improving your weaker qualities. When you complete Reflect, you will be able to work with your results right away. You will immediately receive the following:

  • A personalized report that will help you identify your professional strengths and soft skills known to be essential in today's workplace. These skills include decision-making, drive, operational thinking, innovation, resilience, strategic self-awareness, strategic vision, collaboration, interpersonal intuition and valuing others.
  • A list of actionable behaviors to start, stop, and keep doing, and tips on how to implement new professional behaviors.
  • A rich online learning library including articles, book summaries, and videos that help you grow.
  • Career benchmarking information that explains which competencies are most important for performance in 14 job categories.
  • The ability to create a work plan of learning resources, actions, and tips and track progress.

Be sure to complete Reflect and review your results by July 28th. To begin Reflect, go to http://reflect.gmac.com and click on the sign in button in the top right corner.
