The Willamette MBA U.S. Diversity Scholarship aims to attract outstanding students from diverse backgrounds, including racial and ethnic backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in higher education (underrepresented minorities are individuals who are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. and are Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian or Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander), students who have a demonstrated commitment to working with or studying diversity or underrepresentation, or those who have made academic or social contributions in the field.
U.S. applicants and permanent residents who completed a U.S. undergraduate degree, meet all admission requirements, have a minimum 590 GMAT score or a GRE score averaging 154, and are admitted to the Willamette Early Career and Career Change MBA program may be eligible for a U.S. Diversity Scholarship award ranging from $19,000 to full tuition for the Willamette MBA Early Career/Career Change program. To be considered for this scholarship, you must submit the diversity essay on the online application (second essay in the Additional Questions section).
Consideration for scholarships will occur automatically when the applicant's file is reviewed for an admission decision.
If an applicant is not selected for a U.S. Diversity Scholarship, he or she will still receive full consideration for Atkinson School merit-based scholarships, based on eligibility.
