Applicants to the Willamette MBA who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or allies who have contributed significantly to the LGBT community, who meet all admission requirements and are admitted to the Willamette Early Career and Career Change MBA program may be eligible for The Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellowship ranging from $10,000 to full tuition for the Willamette MBA Early Career/Career Change program.
Each application year, one Reaching Out MBA Fellow will be selected. If an applicant is not selected for the Reaching Out LGBT MBA Fellowship, they will still receive full consideration for Atkinson School merit-based scholarships, based on eligibility.
Admission is based on academic ability, managerial potential and commitment to participating in an intensive and experiential MBA learning environment.
If an applicant is not selected for a Reaching Out Fellowship, he or she will still receive full consideration for Atkinson School merit-based scholarships, based on eligibility.
Responsibilities of the Reaching Out MBA Fellow: Reaching Out MBA Fellows are expected to serve as ambassadors to the LGBT community, help admissions identify future candidates for the Fellowship, take an active role on campus with LGBT initiatives, be a leader and participate in Reaching Out MBA events.
