Our students are a tremendous source of pride for us and fantastic representatives for the Willamette MBA experience. Who better to identify and recommend prospective students than you? You know what it takes to be successful in Willamette’s MBA programs and have a good understanding of the type of talent we are seeking. Many of you are here because you learned about Willamette through a friend, classmate, or colleague. The Admission Referral Program encourages students at Atkinson to identify someone you believe would be a good addition to either the Willamette Early Career and Career Change MBA or the MBA for Professionals program. Students enrolled in either program will receive a tuition $1,000.00 credit for your referral.
A completed student referral requires the following steps:
1. Current MBA students must complete and submit the online form (below) before the candidate matriculates in Willamette’s Early Career and Career Change MBA or the MBA for Professionals program.
2. For a successful admission referral to occur, the candidate must be admitted, enroll in the Early Career and Career Change MBA in the fall semester, or the MBA for Professionals program in the September or January Cohort, and have completed four weeks of their first semester of the Willamette MBA program in good standing. When the referred candidate meets the above qualifications, you (as the current student making the referral) will receive a one-time $1,000 tuition credit on your student account. You must be enrolled as a current student when the referred candidate begins the Early Career and Career Change MBA or the MBA for Professionals program in order to receive the $1,000 tuition credit.
*This is a pilot program and will be reviewed at the end of the academic year. This program may be terminated at any time. **The current student (must be enrolled in the Early Career and Career Change MBA or the MBA for Professionals program) who made a referral will be notified if all qualifications were met to receive the $1,000 tuition credit. The program has no cash value. ***Willamette University employees are not eligible to participate in the student referral program as a referrer nor as a referred candidate.
