Debra J. Ringold is past chair of the board of directors for the American Marketing Association, a 38,000-member organization for marketing professionals. She is an expert in multiple marketing issues, including ethics, research, communications, public policy and the nonprofit sector. Her research specialty is public policy and marketing, including how commercial activity is regulated and how that affects consumer behavior. Her research has appeared in numerous top marketing publications, and she has served as associate editor of the Journal of Public Policy & Marketing.
