Willamette MBA Program Addresses Sustainability

The April issue of Oregon Business magazine features Oregon MBA programs that are "going green," including Willamette's Atkinson Graduate School of Management.

More schools are tailoring their MBA programs to address sustainability and appeal to student and business needs, according to the article. That includes Willamette, which recently introduced the Sustainable Enterprise Certificate. Debra J. Ringold, dean of Atkinson, and Anne Murray Allen, director of the Executive Development Center, were both quoted in the article.

This fall, Atkinson will also introduce an area of interest in Sustainable Management as part of the full-time MBA program, with at least two new courses: Sustainability Management and Scientific Tools for Sustainability.
