Willamette rowing ranks in top 10 in the country

The Willamette University women's varsity eight+ crew, which competed in the NCAA championships in 2009, is ranked ninth in the country in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division III Eights Coaches poll

Additionally, the women's lightweight varsity eight+ ranks 16th with 29 points in the poll, just two points shy of being in the top 15 in the nation. All 15 schools ranked above the Bearcats are NCAA Division I institutions.
