Portland Gay Men's Chorus to perform at Willamette
The Portland Gay Men's Chorus in partnership with the Equity Foundation has announced the “BraveSouls and Dreamers Concert” Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in Willamette University’s Rogers Music Center. General admission is $20, and proceeds will support the foundation. Purchase tickets through pdxgmc.org or via telephone at 503-226-2588.
"The dramatic choral work deals with the impact of war on society and was written by Robert Seeley and Robert Espindola,” said Bob Mensel, Artistic Director of the Portland Gay Men's Chorus. “It explores the human cost of war and hopes for the prospect of peace.”
The event will be co-sponsored by the university’s multicultural affairs office and Angles, a Willamette student organization dedicated to supporting gay, lesbian and bisexual concerns and issues.
Seventy-five free tickets will be held for Willamette students with Compass Card. Pick up tickets at the door or Eaton Hall, Room 421.
