Supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art at Willamette University and artist Marie Watt invite you to donate a blanket and share its blanket story. Marie Watt, a 1990 Willamette graduate, will be creating a sculpture for the permanent collection that will be based, in part, on these donated blankets that will be collected now through June 29.
- The Hallie Ford Museum of Art (Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m-4 p.m.)
- The 11th Annual Social Pow wow on March 9 at the Sparks Center at Willamette University (between 4 - 10 p.m). Blankets can be dropped off with Prof. Rebecca Dobkins or Leslie Whitaker at the Indian Country Conversations information table.
- Also, watch for announcements of "blanket parties" where people will be invited to come together to donate blankets and share stories!
