Atkinson dean finalists to visit Willamette

Willamette community members are invited to attend open forums with each candidate.

The committee searching for the Atkinson Graduate School of Management’s new dean has identified four finalists, who will visit Willamette over the next two weeks.

All Willamette community members are invited to attend open forums with each candidate, following the schedule below. Schedules and CVs will be posted via the WU Portal a couple days before scheduled visits to provide background information on candidates. To preserve confidentiality to the greatest extent possible, you are asked not to share or disseminate application information.

  • Candidate #1 — Dec. 4, 4–5 p.m., Alumni Lounge
  • Candidate #2 — Dec. 6, 4–5 p.m., Alumni Lounge
  • Candidate #3 — Dec. 11, 4–5 p.m., Alumni Lounge
  • Candidate #4 — Dec. 13, 4–5 p.m., Alumni Lounge

The search for a new dean started in early summer after Atkinson’s current dean, Debra Ringold, announced she would return to the faculty at the conclusion of the 2017–18 academic year. It is anticipated that the new dean will assume duties in June 2018.
