Katie Pierson ’18 to teach in Liberia next year

Katie Pierson ’18 joins Peace Corps and will be teaching exercise science to high school students in Liberia next year.

Kaitlyn (Katie) Pierson ‘18 joined the Peace Corps and will be deployed to Liberia immediately after graduation. The goals of the program are to increase high school student success in and out of the classroom while also providing assistance to other teachers and to the community. Katie will be teaching science classes and will certainly be putting her exercise science degree to use next year. Good luck Katie, we know you’re going to do great!
