New parking meters on Winter Street

You must pay at the parking stations along Winter Street to park or the city will ticket you.

CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENT

If you park along Winter Street, you may have noticed that the City of Salem has installed electronic parking stations along both sides of the street between State and Bellevue streets, as part of the city-wide plan to upgrade to these stations.

Please be advised that the pay stations were activated and parking enforcement began Oct. 9.

Parking station rates will be enforced Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the city rate of $1.50 per hour (maximum 10 hours for $15). More information about the meters and rates may be found on the City of Salem website

You also have the option of purchasing a Willamette University parking permit to park in one of our nearby lots. Find more information about purchasing a university permit here.
