Staffing update

by University Communications,

Willamette head football coach Glen Fowles and assistant coaches Tony Cassinerio and Nate Naggi are departing the university, effective immediately.

Willamette is extremely grateful for their decades of service as well as for fostering positive experiences and leadership development opportunities for hundreds of Bearcats. The university wishes each of them every future success.

Willamette remains committed to a robust Bearcat football program. The search for a successor, led by Ed Whipple, vice president for student affairs, will get underway immediately with the goal of welcoming a new head football coach before the end of this calendar year.

Questions about Bearcat football can be directed to Athletic Director Rob Passage via phone at 503-370-6217 or email rpassage@willamette.edu.
