Pillars of Wellness

The Wellness Program focuses on three pillars of wellness: exercise, nutrition, and rest.

Wellness Program

To make the most of your experience it’s important to stay healthy and active – and take full advantage of the beautiful place you’ll call home while at Willamette.

Our Mission Statement

The Campus Recreation Wellness Program provides information, education, and programs to the Willamette University community centered on topics of health, wellness, and fitness. The Wellness Program is built around three distinct and interconnected components: exercise, nutrition, and rest. The program will focus on delivering opportunities to learn and engage in each of these components to promote healthy lifestyles. In addition, the program is responsible for operations of the fitness center. The Wellness Program has a student-centered model. Students will be critical in growing and delivering the program through the guidance of the Director of Campus Recreation. The program employs a student leadership structure, consisting of a Wellness Program Coordinator, Fitness Program Manager, Personal Trainers, a Nutritionist, and Fitness Center Staff, among other volunteers.
