Teach for America

Teach for America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates and working professionals - of all academic majors, background and career interests - who commit themselves to two years of teaching in urban and rural public schools and become lifelong leaders for expanding educational opportunity for all children. TFA seeks outstanding individuals who possess the leadership skills and experience that will enable them to change the prospects of students growing up today and, ultimately, to affect the fundamental change in our society that will make it a place of opportunity for all.
