Sally is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and has a liberal arts background herself, graduating from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, before earning her master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She has worked at a number of college counseling centers and is passionate about empowering students to find healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and communicating. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, interpersonal violence, adjustment issues, and relationship concerns. She has also done significant work with sexual assault response, education, and prevention. Sally provides culturally informed care, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy when working with students. In her free time, Sally enjoys spending time at the lake with her family, watching college basketball, and exploring her new home in the Willamette Valley.
