Long Term Care Insurance (LTC) coverage is made available on a voluntary basis through John Hancock to all eligible Willamette University employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week, or are otherwise a .50 FTE employee. In addition, long term care benefits are available for the dependents of eligible employees including spouses, domestic partners, children, parents/parents-in-law, siblings and their spouses, adult children and their spouses, and grandparents or grandparents-in-law through this program.
LTC insurance provides valuable support and financial resources that help cover the cost of long-term care you might need in the event of an illness, accident, or through the normal effects of aging. By helping to protect your assetss, and giving you choice and control over where you receive care, including your home, LTC insurance helps you and your family face the future with confidence.
