French Language Resources

Bonjour! (/bɔ̃ˈʒur/)

Bonjour et bienvenue! If you are pursuing interests into the French and Francophone world at Willamette, you have come to the perfect place.

Through My French Space on WISE, Willamette’s academic advisor, we offer a vast amount of online resources for learning French and the Francophone world. On top of that, there is 24/7 access to the World Languages Studio located in Ford Hall. Here, we have enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff working from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. They will guide you to the necessary resources for building upon established French skills, or will provide you with a jumping off point if you are at the beginner level.

Every year we receive a fulbright scholar that is a native French speaker who is a Language Assistant at Willamette. You can sign up for tutoring with the Language Assistant through WISE. Tutoring is available throughout the weekdays. Check out Willamette’s French and Francophone Studies to learn more about our wonderful professors and the opportunities available for students.

If you are planning on studying abroad, the LLC has put together a list of helpful resources and ideas of things you can be doing now to prepare you for your prospective country.
