WU-sponsored study abroad application is now open!

Find a link to the program applications on the How to Apply page.  Follow the instructions to set up your profile and to begin a specific program application.  

This application is for all programs in Summer 2018, Fall 2018, Spring 2019 and Academic Year 2018-2019.

The application deadline for these programs is Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Where in the world will your education take you?

For students interested in all WU sponsored study abroad programming for summer 2018, fall 2018 and spring 2019. We encourage all students who are considering study abroad (even if you aren't sure yet!) to come and learn more about researching programs, finding scholarships and the application process. You are expected to attend one Study Abroad Information Session before you complete your application. AFTER you have attended a general information session, come to OIE to make one-on-one study abroad advising.

Attend ONE! All sessions take place in Eaton 209.

Find out how to navigate the many options available and what to expect when you embark on a direct enroll university experience! Talk with international students who are at WU through ISEP and with WU students who studied abroad with ISEP!

It is NOT too early to start finding scholarships for 2018-2019 study abroad programs! Attend this session for tips on finding scholarships that fit your needs so you are ready to study abroad! Many scholarship deadlines are before you get your study abroad application is approved. Plan carefully to get advantage of the opportunities out there.

Monday October 16:   Japan Interest Meeting - JSP!   Thinking about Japan as your study abroad destination? Even if you are interested in a primarily English program, this one may work for you!

  • JSP accommodates all levels of Japanese language skills - including no Japanese. Different language instructions class levels meet all levels of language learning.
  • With the advantages of a homestay, cultural and language learning blossom!
  • Find out about the different paths that are available within this program designed for cultural learning (including language instruction) coupled with Japanese and English academic course opportunities.

Monday October 16: Ecuador Interest Meeting - Study in Quito! 

Looking for an intensive Spanish language learning experience abroad? Immerse yourself in cultural learning and language learning in Quito.

  • This site is offered as a summer '18 or fall '18 semester program.
  • Both terms include intensive language instruction at ACLAS and service learning experiences.
  • SUMMER!  Need to be on campus to meet critical credit needs - consider summer. Earn 2.0 WU Spanish language credits.
  • SEMESTER! For a longer experience, a visit to the Galápagos, and also take courses at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ).
