An evening of entertainment and a sharing of culture from our home to yours for the entire family! This year's lu'au celebrates the rich history of music across Polynesia. This student run event attracts over 1,000 people from the the Willamette and Salem community.

This year's luʻau tells the story of Hawaiʻi's musical transformation

Our mele have gone through a world of change, demonstrating variety and originality in our culture. Listen and enjoy as we share with you the story of Hawaiian music, and how it evolved from the beating of the pahu drum, to Waikīkī swing, to the melodious slack key, ukulele harmonies we hear today.
