Friday, January 12

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Service Center and Housing Open, Service Center (University Services Building, behind the Law School on the North side) and Matthews Hall

If you’d like to get an early start to the day, stop by to get your ID card (Service Center) and room key (Housing, Matthews Hall). Not an early bird? No problem! You’ll have time to move in at 11:30 a.m. See below for more details.

Settling In
If you haven't already done so, start at the Housing office to pick up your room key and get your ID card from the Service Center. Use any remaining time to complete items on the Settling In Checklist, located in your orientation packet.

Groups will travel around campus to visit departments, offices, and services and meet University Staff. Be sure to bring a copy of your academic schedule so the orientation leaders can help you find where your classes are located.

Bill Kelm from the Mark O. Hatfield Library will help configure and install WUPrint, Netfiles, and Zotero.

Salem Tour and Shopping Trip, Meet at the Hatfield Fountain

Need food, school supplies, or stuff for your room? Let current students show you all the best places to shop and hang out in Salem.

(Boxed lunches provided)

Bowling and Pizza, Meet at the Hatfield Fountain

Sunday, January 14

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Ice Skating and Downtown Salem Tour, Meet at the Hatfield Fountain at 10:45 a.m.

Visit Salem on Ice for skating, followed by a tour of downtown Salem. Lunch provided.

5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Group Dinner, Goudy Commons

Open for first contract meal. Check with your group leader to find out when and where you will meet for dinner.

Thursday, January 18
