Our Community

community [kuh-myoo-ni-tee]

1. a group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the larger society within which it exists.

Here at Willamette our Greek organizations form a community that is made up of men and women who share a common purpose. Together we are a family and we depend on each other to be successful in our philanthropic efforts, social relationships, recruitment, and personal development. Our community is made up of our five fraternities, four sororities, two councils that serve as a governing body to the chapters, and many advisors for support.
