I am really double-jointed in my fingers. I participated in a pie-eating contest but carefully ate only one side (because I knew I was going to lose) so I could save the other side for later. Whenever I get a massage, I act like Monica from Friends.

Those TASTY videos doe! You know the ones where they take a minute and make a dish super fast? I can sit and watch those for hours before I sleep. Most of the time, I enjoy beatboxing and singing. Like if there is a four hour car ride, I would be that person that jams the whole entire time even if I only had three hours of sleep. I am also very interested in learning about how to make a difference in the world through social justice. I particularly have an interest in empowering People of Color and learning about the very complex and beautiful Asian American identity since I am able to learn about my grandparents life and sacrifice. I also really like making videos on iMovie. Kind of a wannabe film nerd. On my free time I like spending time with my friends and myself. When I am alone I usually swim, or jog outside if it is sunny or watch shows such as Scandal and Jane the Virgin or... just messing around on Youtube, Facebook, instagram and Snapchat watching random stuff.

Favorite Class at WU

My favorite professors would have to be Professor Drew, who taught Intro to American Ethnic Studies and Race/Gender/Class/Sexuality in the Mass Media, Professor Brooks, who taught Rhetorical Theory and Analyzing Discourse from the Black Freedom Movement, Professor Aguilar, who taught Gender in Society, and Professor Pérez, who taught American Ethnic Studies Theory & Methods. I also love Professors Wen, Zhang, Dunlap, and Richards.

Favorite Event at WU

When I think of a time when I was absolutely positively enjoying myself and letting go, i would say my favorite program at WU is MLK Expressions of Justice. During the week of Martin Luther King Jr. day, the Office of Multicultural Affairs (AKA Gordy) puts on a week long celebration, and Expressions of Justice is an event where students can go up and take that space and show whatever they wish to share with others. I have seen so many amazing people and friends perform songs, poetry, comedy. It really is a beautiful sight to see Students of Color owning that night to have our voices be heard and having that support from one another, and other Willamette students as well. Its also super chill and a lot of fun.

Favorite Restaurant in Salem

I like eating at Super Pho, Wild Pineapple, Adam's Ribhouse, Thai Orchid and BiBimBap House. These aren't restaurants but I also love The Archive Coffee Shop and Frozation fro-yo.
