In case of an extreme medical or psychological emergency in which a student appears to be at risk to him or herself or another, Campus Safety should be contacted immediately at X6911. The student will be transported to Salem Hospital for evaluation and determination of appropriate care.
All costs incurred are the responsibility of the student. Student health insurance is billed automatically through the Business Office at the beginning of the academic year. The policy is for 12 months. Students not covered by another policy must maintain coverage through the plan offered by the University. Students covered by another health insurance plan may sign a hard waiver form to option out of the University plan. This must be done within 10 days of the first day of class in the fall.
