The State of Oregon recently changed travel vendors, from Azumano Travel to Corporate Travel Management (CTM). In order for Willamette University to continue to benefit from State of Oregon’s discounted rates for air, car, and hotel reservations, Willamette must also make the switch to CTM for travel planning needs. The transition was completed on Monday, July 25, 2016 and employees now have access to travel and profile information.
What to Expect
Using CTM will provide Willamette employees with access to travel price agreements and discounts offered to the State of Oregon. CTM is the only travel company authorized to issue tickets from the State’s airline price agreements and apply State discounts. In addition, lower fees and access to more hotel discount rates are available by making hotel reservation using the State’s negotiated rates. Select hotels also allow until 4 p.m. day of arrival to cancel reservations for State-negotiated hotel rates.
CTM still allows employees to use the Concur on-line travel system to book their own university-sponsored air, hotel and car reservations. Additional fees apply when using CTM’s agents to book travel.
In addition, an updated agreement with Enterprise Rent-A- Car provides discounted rates, $1,000,000 of liability insurance and a damage waiver for rentals.
