The Mayo Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program, sponsored by Mayo Graduate School, is a great way to build your skills as a young scientist or test your inclinations toward research.
Each year, 90-100 undergraduate students from around the United States come to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, to work beside both young and established scientists on a broad range of biomedical research questions. Up to ten fellowships also are available at Mayo's campuses in Scottsdale, AZ, and Jacksonville, FL.
The program begins at the end of May and ends in early August.
