alumni and friends escaped the doldrums of winter for a 14-day South
American cruise. This January adventure featured exotic stops at
the Falkland Islands and Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Argentina,
the closest city to Antarctica. Willamette’s Office of Alumni
Relations led 48 alumni and friends around Cape Horn, leaving from
Santiago, Chile, and disembarking in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Office of Alumni Relations offers excellent group prices for
these types of trips. These trips offer the chance to travel with
other University alumni and friends, while experiencing unique continuing
education opportunities. Future trips with Willamette’s faculty
