Reading Endorsement ProgramCenter for Excellence in Teaching

Our full Reading Endorsement Program is designed for those interested in providing reading program leadership within their building or district. This 19-quarter-hour program leads to a TSPC endorsement that uses a wide range of instructional practices, approaches and methods, including technology-based practices for learners at different developmental levels and from differing cultural and linguistic backgrounds. It is based on scientific research of successful practices to prepare and train high-quality teachers.

The 12 quarter-hour MAT ESOL Endorsement Cadre program is for pre-service candidates in our full-time MAT program or the second year of our MAT Aspire (part-time) program. MAT admitted candidates who have paid their MAT deposit will receive a mailing in the spring prior to their entry (or 2nd Aspire) year, which will explain how they can add this program to their MAT coursework.
