Development: The Atkinson Fund

An Atkinson student in classWhy support The Atkinson Fund?
Atkinson Graduate School of Management has a tradition of providing a top quality management education to its students. In order to maintain this quality, and meet the demand of ever increasing costs, AGSM relies strongly on the committed support of alumni.

Tuition dollars supply only 65% of Atkinson's annual budget. The Atkinson Fund, along with endowment earnings, bridges the gap by providing much needed operating revenue. It not only serves as a very important financial vehicle for the School of Management, but also gives all alumni an opportunity to become involved in Atkinson’s future and success. Atkinson Fund dollars support such things as technology upgrades, faculty recruitment and retention, student scholarships, visiting speakers, 'real-world' student-business projects and much more.

For more information about the Atkinson Fund, please contact the Atkinson Development Office at 503-370-6727.

What does my Atkinson Fund gift do?
To see the real impact The Fund has on Atkinson, look in Kilkenny Lecture Hall and the study lounge, look in the computer lab, or even the grassy area near the Mill Race where a student works on a laptop with wireless technology. Look to the places where you hear the clatter of keyboards, the voices of discussion and debate. There-among the students-you'll find the answer. Every dollar you donate to The Atkinson Fund puts wireless technology in our classrooms, recognized speakers in our seminars, and scholarships in the hands of our students. Every dollar allows Atkinson to take advantage of immediate opportunities to improve the learning experience of graduate management students. Show your support of The Atkinson Fund and strengthen tomorrow's future.
