The Parents Leadership Circle is a donor recognition level for parents and families that support the annual Parents Fund in a leadership role within one of the following giving societies. Please join the Parents Fund Committee in the Leadership Circle with your gift this year! If you have any questions about how you can help make our record setting goal a reality, please contact Jesse Finch Gnehm, director of Parents Giving.
Waller Society
The Waller Society honors individuals who contributed $1,000 to $2,499 to Willamette during the fiscal year. This society is named for Alvan F. Waller, who carried on the tradition of service and devotion begun by Jason Lee. It was Alvan Waller, as the University's agent, who bore the responsibility for developing the financial well-being of the University as it grew. He raised the funds for and supervised the construction of what is now known as Waller Hall (which includes Cone Chapel), which was completed in 1867.
Dean’s Club
The Dean’s Club honors individuals who contribute $2,500 to $4,999 to Willamette during the fiscal year. Like the role of the Dean, members’ support ensures the strength of our academic programs and the commitment to teaching excellence for which Willamette is known.
President’s Society
The President’s Society honors individuals who contributed $5,000 to $9,999 to Willamette during the fiscal year. Members of this society reflect the leadership exemplified by the University’s president. Since Willamette’s founding, the president has served as chief institutional fundraiser, creating a vision, building support and leading the way toward academic excellence.
Jason Lee Society
The Jason Lee Society recognizes individuals who contributed $10,000 to $24,999 to Willamette during the fiscal year. The society is named for Jason Lee, the principal founder of the University. He left his entire estate to Willamette and his gift continues to touch the lives of students attending his beloved school more than 150 years later.
Cupola Society
The Cupola Society honors individuals who contributed $25,000 or more to the University during the fiscal year. This society commemorates the cupola atop Waller Hall. The cupola has survived fires, earthquakes and renovations and is symbolic of Willamette's enduring academic presence.
