GOLD Circle Gift Society 

As Willamette Graduates of the Last Decade we are WU's GOLD alumni. We share the common experience of an exceptional liberal arts education. Regardless of where you are right now, you represent a piece of Willamette. Like you, we graduated in the last few years and are making our way in the world. But, when was the last time you were back on campus? Here are some highlights we think you should know more about:

• A new residential system was implemented in conjunction with the Kaneko Commons. Kaneko Commons, like many other Willamette amenities, serves to attract a following of new students each year.
• Student Athletes today benefit from the addition of the Sparks turf field and the department just kicked off of a new athletics fundraising program. The Sparks field allows varsity, club and IM sports to practice year-round.
• More than twenty tenure track faculty have joined the University since 2000 in a variety of departments. The expansion of the faculty has kept classes small, diversified campus and necessitated the addition of Ford Hall, Willamette's newest academic building, which utilizes the latest in technology to enhance classroom learning.

For some GOLD alums, like Dustin, the expansion of undergraduate faculty and renovation of Sparks might be a distant memory. And, if you graduated in 05, 06, 07 or 08 you might only remember the impact of Kaneko or Ford Hall construction. Today, however, each area makes a tremendous impact on all undergraduates.

We might not have been exposed to all the benefits of each of Willamette's initiatives over the last ten years, but the University is committed to providing an exceptional liberal arts education and the value of our degrees increases with each advance that the University makes. As GOLD alums: We are Willamette.

Dustin and I admit that it's not always easy to keep in touch with the University (friends, professors, program initiatives). Given our shared experience as undergrads we felt it was important to show you that Willamette is consistently improving the liberal arts experience on a daily basis.

Just as our motto states: not unto ourselves alone are we born, the University is dependent on a community of volunteers and friends to continue to improve. As a GOLD alum you are part of a remarkable community regardless of your class year. Dustin and I hope you'll join us and support Willamette today by signing up to be a monthly donor.
