Welcome to Willamette University's Instructional Design Center!

The Instructional Design Center's broad mission is to enhance the educational experience through technology and innovation. The IDC provides technical expertise and know-how for the integration and production of educational technology-related strategies and materials. The IDC utilizes the best known methods for well-engineered, consistent, and sustainable programs for teaching and learning.

Some of the resources that can be found in the IDC include friendly and user-centric instructional design expertise, multimedia expertise, student support, guest teaching modules, information and advice on many of the latest teaching and learning technologies, and support for instructional resources such as BlackBoard, Turnitin, blogs, wikis, podcasting, and so on.

The IDC enables the creation of consistent, sustainable applications and materials within the various disciplines, allowing greater access to the specialized knowledge of the members of the Willamette community.
