Disabling the email scanning feature of Symantec AntiVirus

    1. Open the Symantec Antivirus Client.
    2. Click on the Configure menu.
    3. Click on Internet E-Mail Auto-Protect.
    4. Uncheck the Enable Internet E-mail Auto-Protect checkbox.
    5. Click OK.

Symantec AntiVirus is now configured properly to not scan your outgoing email.
