Disabling the
email scanning feature of Symantec AntiVirus
- Open the
Symantec Antivirus Client.
- Click on
the Configure menu.
- Click on
Internet E-Mail Auto-Protect.
- Uncheck
the Enable Internet E-mail Auto-Protect checkbox.

- Click OK.
Symantec AntiVirus
is now configured properly to not scan your outgoing email.
