Start a Telnet Session

Windows:

1. Click the Start button and select Run.
2. Type telnet hydra.willamette.edu
3. Click OK.
   A window will pop up. Enter your Willamette username, followed by your Willamette password.

Macintosh OS X:

1. Open the Applications folder and then open the Utilities folder.
2. Start the Terminal application.
3. Type telnet hydra.willamette.edu
4. Press return.
   A window will pop up. Enter your Willamette username, followed by your Willamette password.

Start Pine

Windows or Macintosh:

1. At the main menu (or at the % prompt), type pine
2. Press Enter or return.
3. You will be prompted to enter your Willamette username and password a second time. Once you have logged in, follow the instructions on the screen. For more help, check out our Pine Documentation.
