Abstract:
This document covers how to exit Pine.
Exiting
the Pine Electronic Mail Environment
- Type Q
at the Main Menu, the Folder Index, or any other section that shows a Quit
option.
- You are
prompted to confirm.
- Type Y
to confirm or N to remain in Pine.
- As you
exit, if any of the messages were marked for deletion, Pine displays:
- Expunge
the [Number] deleted messages from "[folder]"? (y/n)
- Type Y
to delete the messages,
or
- Type N
if you've changed your mind about deleting these messages.
- Pine tells
you how many messages were kept and deleted in the folder.
