There
are several different options available
for accessing your Willamette email
account.

to other web-based programs such as
Hotmail or Yahoo. No special configuration
is required to use Webmail - all you
need is a web browser such as Internet
Explorer or Netscape.
Netscape
Mail - Netscape can be downloaded
for free, and can be easily configured
by students, staff, or faculty to access
Willamette email from on or off campus.
WITS installs Netscape on all university-owned
computers.
Outlook

of the Microsoft Office 2003 software
package, and offers a full-featured
mail client as well as other organizational
features. It can be configured to access
Willamette email from on or off campus.
Outlook
Express - Outlook Express comes pre-installed
on most new computers, and can be configured
to access Willamette email from on or off
campus. WITS does not install Outlook Express
on university-owned computers.
OS
X Mail - For Macintosh users, OS 10.2-10.4
comes with an integrated email application
called Mail, which can be configured to send
and receive Willamette email.
Pine
- Pine is a text-based email client, which
can be accessed from on or off campus using
Telnet or SSH (both are available for free
download).
Thunderbird

for free, and can be easily configured by
students, staff, or faculty to access Willamette
email from on or off campus. WITS installs
