Dial-up Connections

General Information

Willamette University provides dial-up network connectivity as a free service to all Willamette students, staff, and faculty members. Our dial-up server supports connection speeds up to 56 Kbps, and can be accessed by dialing either 503-370-6627 or 503-370-6628. Both numbers are local in Salem. Willamette does not currently provide local access numbers for users in the Portland area.

Willamette users who don't wish to pay long distance phone charges, or who are interested in higher bandwidth solutions to their networking needs may wish to contact an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as AT&T Broadband, Qwest DSL, Earthlink, etc.
