Willamette's
Firewall
Willamette
uses a transparent firewall. It is set up to allow
users within the University to open different kinds
of connections to computers outside the university,
but it prevents anyone outside the university from
opening a connection with a machine on campus, except
for specific machines that must be accessible (e.g.,
our web server and e-mail server).
