Transfer/Visiting Applicants
Willamette University College of Law welcomes transfer and visiting students from ABA-accredited law schools. Guidelines for admission to Willamette as a second-year transfer or visiting student are as follows:
How to Apply
Transfer or visiting student applicants should use the standard application for admission and indicate status as either transfer or visiting students in the appropriate section of the application. The priority deadline for transfer student applications is March 1 of the enrollment year. The priority deadline for visiting student applications is March 1 for fall enrollment and October 1 for spring enrollment. Admission is based largely on the strength of the applicant’s law school grades and class rank, as well as the reasons for the decision to continue legal education at the College of Law. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC), maintains an approved electronic-format application to Willamette's College of Law. The following link will take you directly to LSAC Willamette University College of Law Application .
