The rial court erred when it imposed attorney fees on Defendants in the written judgment but not during Defendants’ hearings.

In each of these consolidated cases, the trial court imposed court-appointed attorney fees on Defendant not during court hearings, but later in trial court’s written judgment. Defendants argued and State conceded that the trial court erred in imposing court-appointed attorney fees after Defendants’ criminal hearings. Because the fees were not imposed in open court, Defendants were not required to object to them in order for the Court to review them. Portions of judgments requiring Defendants to pay attorney fees reversed, otherwise affirmed.
