Willamette University has a comfortable two-bedroom apartment, located at TIUA, available for Willamette University guests. The apartment is nicely furnished and has a kitchen, laundry room with washer and dryer, dining room and living room furniture, computer, telephone, and CD/sound system. Each bedroom has a queen-size bed. The apartment is on the second floor of Kaneko and is accessed from the front parking lot. An elevator is available. Linens are provided, however, daily room service is not available.
The Guest Apartment is available to Willamette University departments for official University guests. It is not available for personal use or intended for extended stays.
The apartment will be maintained and available for use throughout the academic year. The cost for renting the apartment is $35 per night. University departments will be charged by general entry for use of the apartment. Reservations not canceled prior to five working days will require full payment, unless the reserved time is rented to another user. The department or group hosting the visitor is responsible for any damages and/or charges. Any lost or broken furnishings or equipment will be billed at new replacement cost.
Guests may stay for a maximum of five nights. If the apartment is needed for a longer stay, a Request for a Waiver must be completed and submitted to the Director of Scheduling, Events and Conferences for review and approval. The form is available from the Office of Scheduling, Events and Conferences.
Smoking is not permitted inside TIUA and the apartment.
Reservations for the apartment are made through the University's Office of Scheduling, Events and Conferences by contacting the Information Center, Putnam University Center by calling (503)370-6267. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
A department account number will be required when the reservation is made and all charges, including telephone charges or damages, will be charged by general entry to the department.
The person making the reservation is responsible for picking up the key from the Information Center during normal business hours or for making other arrangements. One visitor-parking permit is available if the guest is arriving by car.
Unless other arrangements are made when the guest is scheduled, the check-in time is 3:00 pm and checkout time is 11:00 am.
