Registration Procedures

All courses will be held in the School of Education (SOE) unless otherwise indicated. The SOE is located on the corner of Cottage and Ferry streets in downtown Salem, Ore. See maps and directions. All programs and courses are approved by TSPC and all courses depend on minimum enrollments.

After submitting your pre-registration, we will contact you regarding payment and provide additional information about your chosen courses.

• Unless otherwise indicated, the parenthetical note after each course name is the number of quarter hours for the respective course.

Please note that after you take the overview course, Portfolio Development classes do not have to be taken in the order of the number assigned to them. For example, you can take Portfolio Development IV before you take Portfolio Development II. However, after taking a particular Portfolio Development class, you must then allow time to collect evidence/artifacts before taking the corresponding Portfolio Assembly class.

Successful completion of an Initial Administrative License program and a master’s degree are required prior to program entrance. See NDEL admission requirements for more information on admission to the program.
