Biography
Ashley Town Stovin is the executive assistant to the president & manager of the president's office at Willamette University. Prior to joining working in the president's office Stovin spent seven years as executive assistant to the dean at Willamette Law, prior to that Stovin spent more than a decade serving in high-level administrative management, travel and event planning, account management, and client relations at local law firms and for the Oregon School Boards Association.
Stovin’s professional activities include serving as a notary public for the State of Oregon. She currently serves on the Native American Advisory Council and as an advisory board member for Theatre 33 at Willamette University, as a parent volunteer for any number school- or athletic-related events, and is a devoted fundraiser/volunteer for causes including: Native American/indigenous rights, melanoma cancer research, and domestic violence awareness.
Beyond her activity in professional and community organizations, Stovin dedicates her time and energy to her family in addition to many hobbies including gardening, boxing, weight lifting, theatre, and hiking.
