It’s a good time to be a Bearcat! Regional WUAA Chapters and Clubs are forming with many events on the horizon. Be sure to submit your Class Notes by Aug. 20 for publication in the fall issue of the alumni magazine! And most of all, don’t miss Alumni Weekend 2014! Capitol Building With two screenings of the Mark Hatfield documentary film and eight topical sessions, the Politics Symposium delivers a punch, giving Alumni Weekend attendees a chance to delve deep into important issues. Panelists and moderators include:

Thousands of alumni have volunteered in extraordinarily meaningful ways, and the Peace Corps Salute will celebrate this group's commitment to living WU's motto. At the event, you will:
  • Hear alumni stories from 50 years of Peace Corps service
  • Be part of a formal recognition by the University
  • Learn how to be a Peace Corps volunteer today, regardless of your age






inClass Sessions From alumni and faculty-led class sessions to tours of campus and beyond, there is so much to choose from. Here's a small sample:
  • Choose from a variety of undergraduate classes to audit
  • Investigate identity, testimony, place, and ethics with Professor Chris Harris
  • Enjoy a tasty session on making pie with Dani Cone ’98
  • Enjoy a docent-led tour of the Hallie Ford Museum of Art

  • Join a guided tour of WU’s Zena Farm and Forest
  • Dig into the Archives to explore the quirkier side of Willamette
