Faculty Bring the World to Willamette
Faculty are front and center this year at Alumni Weekend (Sept. 17-20) with a wide range of sessions. Hear from Professor Scott Pike and students about their work with international archaeologists excavating a neolithic site in Scotland dated to 3200 B.C. And Professor Emeritus Roger Hull will share his experiences seeing great works of art from around the world.

As an intern with the Adaptive Riding Institute, Kathrin Miracle '15 works with people with disabilities desiring equine assisted therapy and therapeutic riding. “I have gained such a greater understanding of people who are disabled and the difficulties they face every day,” says Miracle. “This internship really opened my eyes to the impact horses can have on people’s lives. I have met some amazing and inspiring people who have made me consider equine assisted therapy as a possible career path.”
