The purpose of this project is to explore and highlight the lasting Indigenous history on Willamette’s Salem Campus. This project will center the Our Indigenous Roots sign funded by CAFES. This exploration will be done through a walking tour of Willamette’s campus that will cover the official posters of the sign displayed in Olin, Eaton and Smullin/Walton along with the information they contain. In addition to this, further Indigenous history on campus will be explored. The tour will end by the millstream where we will have the This IS Kalapuyan Land yard sign exhibit displayed.

The reception will take place in the Student Art Gallery on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. The show will be in the Gallery from April 13th through the 22nd.
