Events for Admitted Students
Congrats! Just like you’ll have freedom of exploration as a student at WU, we want you to be able to choose the visit experiences that interest you the most and will help you make your final decision to become a Bearcat.
If one of the visit opportunities below doesn’t meet your needs, reach out to your admission counselor to discuss other options. We’re here to help connect you to our community!
Bearcat Day
Our signature admitted student event, Bearcat Day is an exciting and spirit-filled day that will allow you to live the life of a Willamette student. Attend a class, eat in Goudy dining hall, visit a professor in an academic hearth, meet current and future Bearcats and experience downtown Salem. In-person Bearcat Day events will be held March 11, April 1 and April 15.
Virtual Bearcat Day
Can’t make it to campus? We’ll bring Bearcat Day to you via Zoom on March 5.
On-Campus Visits
We would love to host you for a visit to our beautiful campus on a day that is most convenient for you. Sit in on a class, chat one-on-one with a current student or professor, and meet with your admission counselor to dive deeper into the Willamette experience and envision yourself as a Bearcat.
Virtual Bearcat Nights
It's your time to ask any questions you have about student life at Willamette! Chat with current students and learn about our many campus activities, clubs and organizations. You’ll also have time to meet other admitted students and start making connections with your future peers. Our Bearcat Night events will be held on Sunday, April 3 and Monday, April 18.
Access to Excellence (A2E)
Our fly-in campus visit program for admitted students introduces you to our inclusive and welcoming community. We'll connect you to important resources and student spaces on campus. Willamette covers the costs associated with travel and participation. Can’t make it to campus for an A2E fly-in program? Register to attend Virtual Access to Excellence.
