Cady Campbell serves as the Associate Director of Admission for the College of Arts & Sciences. In her role, Cady oversees programming for parents and family members of prospective students and cultivates relationships with school-based and independent counselors, including managing our Counselor Advisory Board. She also leads our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) team and serves as a Board Director for Colleges That Change Lives.

Cady received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Theatre from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin and a Master's of Arts in Cross-Cultural Communication and Education from Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Cady's background in volunteering for youth leadership organizations in her home state of Wisconsin, and in Oregon, and working in access programs as a graduate student led her to a career in college admission at Willamette. Even after living in Oregon for nearly a decade, her Wisconsin roots run deep. You will easily find her cheering for the Packers and the Brewers (no matter how poorly they are playing), and snacking on a good cheddar cheese.

Why Willamette?

Willamette's mission, motto, academic programs and exceptional faculty contribute to an environment that students thrive in.

Favorite High School or College Class or Subject?

It was my high school mass communication teacher, Cheryl Farrar, who inspired my fascination with communication and how others interact with each other, and ultimately influenced what I studied in college and graduate school.

Something You Learned in College You Still Use?

Studying theatre immersed me in story-telling and what is most precious about the human experience in a creative and artistic way, and yet, storytelling is an incredibly powerful tool, and it is something that we do every day. It is a privilege to share the Willamette story with prospective students and communicate the human experience at this life-changing institution.

Memorable/Favorite High School or College Co-Curricular Activity

Studying abroad in London and Florence as a college junior was one of the most impactful life-experiences I've ever had!

Proudest Accomplishment to Date

My proudest accomplishment to date is being a working parent.

Favorite Book

Little Women, Louisa May Alcott

This will always be my favorite book.
